Yes, 'tis Walnut... The Don gets the Bucket'o'Lard... I picked this stuff off of one of our sponsors, Beach Tonewood off e-bay... I think there's a sister set on there now... I'm very excited to have this set! It it my first walnut aquisition. Curly Claro Walnut with sapwood! Yummm... I just noticed that we changed the system... Thanks guys! I was very happy when the Zoot Fairy (UPS guy) showed up today. The 55$ brokerage fee was a little less amusing... ![]() Hesh, you mean the pic that I use as my wallpaper now? ![]() Sergio, tell Hesh that my shop was so clean that you didn't recognize it in the pics!!! ![]() ![]() Carlton, I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet... I have a Wenge Baritone on deck... but so far I'm thinking a sister to my florentine I have going now, but with a venetian cutaway... |

Now that's killer Walnut. Al the customs brokerage fee is the biggest cross border scam going -- most suppliers will ship via USPS and good old Canada Post will tag you for about $10 on a parcel that size. |

It's quite the scam they've got there... Legal too... I think the brokerage was 39$ and then there were the taxes... ![]() ![]() Oh well, at least I've got my zoot! |
